1. What is ALMM? The ALMM (Approved List of Models & Manufacturers) is a compulsory certification that was introduced by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) in India. It certifies that Solar PV Modules (List‑I) and/or from June 2026 Solar Cells (List‑II) are being procured from established, dependable and domestically proven manufacturers.
